Frontline is specialised in the rigging technique for the events industry and is the rigging service provider par excellence. We seem our carry out tasks as turnkey projects.
Important parts of these projects are all technical preparations, the required working plans and the associated weight calculations. Together with the client we will search for the best solution for our common challenges.
Technical accompaniment and implementation of rigging projects are our speciality. The rent, sales and installation of rigging materials and tools belongs also to our activities.
SSC (VCA)
Frontline is SSC (VCA) * certified. SSC stands for SHE (VGM) Checklist Contractors.
For the SSC certificate is obtained Frontline is objective and structural tested on their SHE (VGM) Management Systems. (SHE stands for Safety, Health and Environment)
One very important feature of SSC is that they will check every year of Frontline still meet all SSC requirements.

Frontline Rigging
For the largest event locations but also for the smaller projects.
Frontline has multi annual contracts with the Ahoy Rotterdam and the Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam. These contracts give Frontline the exclusivity for the implementation of the rigging activities. And Frontline is the ‘Preferred supplier’ of the Amsterdam ArenA.
For the Ahoy and the Heineken Music Hall, Frontline installed permanently safety lines. As a result of which working on heights can be carried out safely.
Since the spring of 2004 Frontline is also partner of the Gelredome concerning the technique. In consultation with the Gelredome, over 240 house steels have been installed, so almost everywhere in the Gelredome rigging points can be created.

ARBO (= health and safety) regulated
At Frontline personal safety stands high in the standard, safety for our employees and for our customers and its guests. Frontline is not a stunt company where unnecessary and undesirable risks are taken.
Activities on altitude are carried out according Arbo (= health and safety) regulations. The risks are minimised. Where needed temporary or permanent safety supplies will be used.

Partner
Concert and event locations are not the only ones who choose Frontline as a partner. Also theatre and television producers are making use of our expertise.
Smaller projects need just as much attention as the larger ones.

Trendsetter
Frontline is a trendsetter in the Netherlands, concerning working methods and the use of personal safety equipment. In the spring of 2000 the working methods have been adapted that they are Arbo justified.
‘Free’ climbing by roof constructions belongs definitely to the past.

Progressive and committing
Frontline is progressive and committed to the branch, she is one of the motivators concerning standardisation. With the NNI (Dutch standardisation institute) and a number of branch members hard work is done for making directives.
The directives of the rigging technique falls under the NPR8020 ranges. NPR8020-10, which came out in 2006, gives directives for safety factors on the use of rigging tools and truss constructions. |
Safety stands at the top
Permanent installed safety supplies are used (in; Ahoy Rotterdam, Gelredome Arnhem, Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam, Amsterdam ArenA), or the activities are carried out with aerial work platforms. If there have been no arrangements made concerning personal safety and if the use of aerial work platforms is not an option, climbing by using safety lines can be an option. Together with the customer the best (and the safest) option is chosen. |
