On march 2 2014 "GLANZ UND ELEND DER KURTISANEN" had its openings night at the Stadsschouwburg in Amsterdam.

This performance originally staged at the Volksbünhe in Berlin Features a real live balloon as main set piece.

As this play was never intended to tour the technical team from the Stadsschouwburg turned to Frontline Automation to give the 900kg Balloon its "WINGS". Using the eZ-hoist Winch and eZ-track Trolley system, Frontline Automation together with the stage-crew at the Stadsschouwburg, made this balloon look like a "walk in the park".
